Family Planning Health Promotion courses running nationwide

Family Planning's free health promotion professional development courses cover a variety of topics and are suitable for teachers, guidance counsellors, school nurses, social workers, community and youth workers.

Family Planning runs courses throughout the country covering many health promotion topics at primary and secondary school levels. Topics include: teaching sexuality education, teaching about pornography, affirming diversity, healthy relationships, sexuality and disability, alcohol, sex and hauora, and more.

These free courses are suitable for those working with young people: teachers, guidance counsellors, school nurses, social workers, community and youth workers. If they do not have a course in your area, you can suggest an alternative time and location so that they can work towards meeting your health promotion needs.
