Ara Taiohi has developed this external supervisor directory to support healthy professional practice in the sector and provide Ara Taiohi members with access to comprehensive and up-to-date information on supervisors across the country.

Ara Taiohi does not evaluate the quality of the supervisors listed or monitor their services and can take no responsibility for quality of services.

Anyone can apply to the join the directory, however we ask that supervisors have completed a certificate in supervision and worked for at least three years in the sector or have five years' experience in the sector and are working towards a relevant qualification. Experience can be paid or voluntary.

As part of maintaining a healthy professional practice we encourage reflection and feedback processes. If you have any compliments or complaints to do with a supervisor's practice we suggest in the first instance that you speak to the supervisor concerned directly. Any other issues regarding professional practice should be taken up with the relevant professional body or the relevant Government authority. Any feedback provided to Ara Taiohi will be kept in confidence unless a person's safety is called into question.
