Youth Week 2017 will be held 26 May - 4 June 2017!

Youth Week grants are now closed. Thank you for you applications. We will be contacting applicants during the week of March 13th.

Our Youth Week 2017 theme is "Our voices count; count our voices".

We encourage you to:
  • utilise this theme as an opportunity to promote and celebrate youth voices in your community

  • share how your event/activity is going to create youth development opportunities

  • explore how the theme is relevant to this year and in particular our upcoming national election

A youth development opportunity refers to a place on or participation in a youth development programme for an identifiable participant.

The focus is on opportunities such as:

  • leadership: of self, of others, and/or influence
  • mentoring: for the participant or the participant mentoring others
  • volunteering
