I grew up in the deep south, have lived in Auckland, London and Paris, but ultimately call Wellington home.
I have worked as an advocate, researcher, and community liaison kaimahi in grassroots community led spaces since I graduated with a Masters of Cross-cultural Psychology in 2014. My main mahi is at NZPC: Aotearoa NZ Sex Workers Collective - a peer organisation supporting the health, safety, rights and wellbeing of sex workers, and I trained in Professional Supervision in 2024. I have three tamariki who are growing fast, and I'm deeply involved in my local school and sports community.
My Approach
My area of expertise is in supervision for peer workers - where worker and whaiora share lived experiences and/or are part of close communities.
I use the Reflective Learning Model of Supervision which is flexible and embraces strengths-based approaches.
I describe supervision as stargazing together - looking for pointers, seeking out connections, and recognising constellations.
