Dacia Davison
I am an Occupational Therapist and Functional Mental Health provider in my private practice. My clinical background is mental health, complex case management, family violence, sexual trauma/sensitive claims, community care, as well as experience working in physical health, schools, and home-based care.
I have extensive experience in program development, team dynamics and communication, collaborative problem solving, mindfulness-based stress reduction, mental health and wellbeing, community development, networking, and building collaborative partnerships. I also have lived experience working as a mum of 3 and I understand the intersection of home and work life and how to balance those things.

My Approach
I have a holistic and strengths-focused perspective of situations. I can offer a supportive place to share your challenges and frustrations with care and validation. I offer guidance to consider new perspectives, align yourself with your values and goals, collaboratively problem solve new solutions, be self-reflective, manage your own wellbeing and self-care, and continue to learn and grow.
I also specialise in working with people who have multiple roles or identities that intersect. Life can get messy quickly when you are trying to keep up with expectations, responsibilities, and when your individual profile means you have to do things a bit differently to survive. I can help you identify what it is that matters most to you (your values and goals) and shine that light on your professional life with practical and sustainable ways to ensure that your life is working for you and according to your needs.
