At  64 and with over 40 years’ experience in youth work, I bring the wisdom and the understanding. What else I offer is probably best said by one of my newest supervisees, who messaged me this two months ago ….

After checking in and asking what is top of mind, I come prepared with a open-ended questions that follow up on the previous session and invite you to: 1. reflect on your mahi (to pause, stand back, debrief and review actions). 2. be self-aware, and to recognise the impact of your mahi (on yourself and on others). 3. maintain healthy boundaries and safe practice. 4. recognise and understand potential risk. 5. learn, and make better decisions. 6. remember your why. 

As a supervisor I bring excellent listening skills; strengths in strategic thinking, intuition and relationship building; a high regard for the integrity of other cultures, and a genuine interest in and care for others.
