Sally Beale
Kia ora, my background is in the field of mental health and addiction with youth and adults. I have worked in therapeutic communities in UK and NZ, worked with offenders, and within the DHB, I also have extensive experience in the field of learning difficulties, from mild to severe. More recently I have been working as a sensitive claims provider for ACC, for employment assistance programmes, and in private practice. I have a PhD in the field of child sexual abuse. I am also a naturopath and aromatherapist and work holistically and somatically, helping clients appreciate links between body and mind.
My Approach
I provide a reflective safe space to refresh, learn and reorient for the month ahead. My supervision style is empathic and collaborative, allowing you to reflect on the relational, transferential, organisational, and systems aspects of your work with clients. I draw on the seven eyed model of supervision as well as the work of Gordon Hewitt and Daphne Hewson.
Qualifications
Diploma of Social Work; Doctor of Philosophy PhD Social Work; Certificate Clinical Supervision -DAPAANZ registered supervisor; Qualified EMDR practitioner part 1 and 2, Diploma of Natural Therapeutics (Naturopathy), Diploma of Aromatherapy.
