Tania To'oa Seiuli

Kia-ora, Talofa Lava and Warm Pacific Greetings to You. I am an experienced and values-driven practitioner offering external supervision grounded in integrity, cultural responsiveness, and deep commitment to ethical practice. My professional journey spans roles as a Care and Protection and Crisis Response Social Worker, Supervisor, and Family Group Conference (FGC) Coordinator, providing me with comprehensive understanding of statutory and community-based environments. As a proud Pacific Island woman, my work is strongly influenced by cultural knowledge, relational values, and an understanding of working effectively with Samoan families and diverse ethnic communities. I offer a culturally grounded lens that honours identity, spirituality, and collective wellbeing, while remaining inclusive and respectful of all backgrounds.

My Approach

I bring extensive experience in trauma-informed practice, including working alongside individuals, families, and communities impacted by abuse, including sexual harm. My approach prioritises safety, trust, and empowerment, supporting practitioners to reflect critically, build resilience, and strengthen their practice in complex and often challenging contexts. My supervision practice is also shaped by my faith as a God-fearing woman, which underpins my commitment to compassion, humility, accountability, and service. I aim to create a safe, supportive, and reflective space where practitioners can grow professionally, explore challenges openly, and remain aligned with their values and purpose. Through external supervision, I seek to walk alongside practitioners-encouraging insight, strengthening practice, and supporting sustainable, ethical work that uplifts individuals, families, and communities.
