My Movie, My Story

PRIVATE EVENT

My Movie, My Story invites young women to step behind the camera and share what matters most to them. Working in small groups, participants will create their own short films inspired by their lives, experiences, or a topic they feel passionate about. Along the way, they'll collaborate with friends, connect with other members of their community, and learn new creative skills in a fun and supportive environment. 

At the end of the day, we'll host a special screening where everyone can showcase their films, celebrate each other's stories, and enjoy kai and snacks together. Participants will also have the opportunity to introduce their film and share a little about themselves and the inspiration for their movie, before the screening, if they would like to. It's a chance to express themselves, build confidence, and see their stories come to life on screen.
