One Week, One Voice

One Week, One Voice is a youth week campaign to be launched by EmpowerYouth. This campaign will consist of three simple events: A Paint and Sip, “Hoops and Heroes”, and a color run. The Paint and Sip will kick off youth week, and allow rangatahi to wind down, and do some after-school painting with their mates. “Hoops and Heroes” is an initiative aiming to foster understanding between federal officials such as police officers and firefighters and taiohi; it is an event that invites young people to play friendly rounds of basketball against police officers and firefighters to create engagement and connection. And finally, the color run will be a fun, exciting end to our campaign where rangatahi can have fun and get outside, and also get some physical exercise.
