She Climbs Youth-Led Community Bouldering Day

The She Climbs Youth-Led Community Bouldering Day is an indoor climbing event created and delivered by rangatahi who participate in the weekly She Climbs programme at Northern Rocks. For new and beginner climbers, She Climbs is a fully funded bouldering program designed to engage high school–aged young women in a safe, social, and supportive environment. In partnership with Harbour Sport, Sport NZ and the #itsmymove campaign, the program helps participants build confidence, develop skills, improve fitness, and form friendships while learning from experienced female coaches. We encourage young women to challenge themselves, try new movements, and have fun exploring climbing in a space where they can thrive.
