Our event, "Taringa Whakarongo: The Waitara Voice Festival," is a dynamic, multistation takeover from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Rather than a static audience, rangatahi move between high engagement hubs: Barbering, DJing, Songwriting, Cooking, and Visual Arts. We also feature dedicated spaces for Kapa Haka, Pasifika Dance, and Poetry. The evening is designed as a "flow" where the skills practiced at the stations like a new beat, a verse, or a dance move can be shared during our Interactive Open Mic in the second half of the night. with kai
