Taringa Whakarongo: The Waitara Voice Festival

Our event, "Taringa Whakarongo: The Waitara Voice Festival," is a dynamic, multistation takeover from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Rather than a static audience, rangatahi move between high engagement stations: Barbering, DJing, Songwriting, Cooking, and Visual Arts. We also feature dedicated spaces for , Dance, and Poetry cultural activities. The evening is designed as a "flow" where the skills practiced at the stations like a new beat, a verse, or a dance move can be shared during our Interactive Open Mic/ karaoke in the second half of the night. with kai.
