Wairua Day – Rangatahi Community Event Wairua Day is a community-focused event for rangatahi, taking place on Saturday 23rd May from 1:00pm at Mana Wairua Center, 151 Dowse Drive.
This will be a public event and promoted through our social media platforms.
The purpose of Wairua Day is to provide a safe, inclusive environment where rangatahi can express themselves, be heard, and engage in meaningful connection.
The day will focus on strengthening wairua through shared kōrero, storytelling, and opportunities for reflection. Activities will include facilitated group discussions, games, and interactive activities designed to encourage engagement, build confidence, and foster a sense of belonging.
Free kai will be provided to support a welcoming, whānau centred atmosphere.
Rangatahi will have the chance to share their stories and staff will be sharing their stories too.
Celebrating youth week - A key feature of the day will be a handprint wall, where rangatahi can leave a visual representation of their identity and connection to the space at the Mana Wairua Center.
We are grateful for the opportunity to deliver this initiative and will acknowledge and tag you across our social media.
